2026–27 Major Dates Calendar
Smith Street Maternelle closely follows the NYC public school calendar, with a few exceptions: we are closed for 2 weeks in December and we finish a week earlier in June. We offer a 6 week summer camp program with the same hours available as during the school year.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled differently this year; teachers requested more time to get to know the students and to write reports.
Smith Street Maternelle will cancel all classes and close administrative offices for inclement weather whenever the New York City public schools are closed. In rare circumstances, Smith Street Maternelle will make its own determination as to whether it is open or closed.
